My Artwork

Update 9.17.10:

I'm getting ready for something exciting... That I'm almost ready to tell you about... But for now, I'll give you a sneak peak at what's been going on in my studio lately:

Please excuse my dust... This page is still under construction!

I will be the first to admit that I am still searching to find my "style". My collages are  different from my paintings, and I do have a lot more fun splashing paint around graffiti-style than minutely perfecting a composed painting. And I've had to really push myself to show my stuff to the people in my life and here with you, as I'm still trying to gain confidence in what I'm doing. And I'm working on getting my work up to the level that I envision - oh, if only there were more hours in the day to practice, practice! So this is part of the ride that Iam showing you all here on my blog - my search for my artistic voice!
My artwork, or maybe I should say "experiments"  are a combination of self-taught techniques, built upon some professional training. For various reasons, I never completed a full course of study in college. Therefore I have a foundation of drawing, pastel-painting, and sculpture, learned in school; and through experimentation I've been learning painting, collage, and multi-media.
Since returning to the practice of art, I've been experimenting with the following:

Collage

Multi-Media

Acrylic Paintings

Color Studies
